A Road trial section applying a low noise asphalt mix design based on the use of a newly conceived pellet SELESTRADE composed of Selenizza and crumb rubber was carried out on 21 October 2021 in the Fribourg canton by Weibel in cooperation with Gommamica and Selenice Bitumi Sha, allowing a significant reduction in noise pollution compared to conventional asphalt mixes while guaranteeing the longevity of the pavement
